Admission processes typically starts by January every year and closes before the start of the academic year in April. Application forms are available at the school and you can also download the form from the school website. Admissions to Miranda School are based on

• Availability of seats
• Choice of Education Board
• Ability to meet stipulated admission procedures and qualifications
• Ability to meet financial obligations

Scholarships are made available for students, who are deserving but are unable to meet the financial requirement. You may contact the Admissions Officer for more details.

Miranda School is affiliated to State Board as well as ICSE Board of education.

Admission Procedure for Kindergarten and Elementary School

(Pre Primary / Lower Kindergarten / Upper Kindergarten / Grade 1 to Grade 5)

• Formal interview being completed to a satisfactory level

• Parents' meeting with the Principal and/or the Section Coordinator

• For June 2018 admission into Pre-Primary, children should be 2 years and 10 months old. For June 2018 admission into Lower Kindergarten, children should be 3 years and 10 months old. For June 2018 admission into Upper Kindergarten, children should be 4 years and 10 months old.

Admission Procedure for Middle School

(Grade 6 to Grade 10)

• Entrance tests in English and Mathematics being completed to a satisfactory level.

• Interview with the Principal and/or the Section Coordinator and the Admission Officer.

• Receipt of the student's previous academic records is reviewed along with the entrance exam results

The final decision of the admission committee will be communicated in one week's time.

Once the Admission has been accepted, half the amount of the fees towards the reservation fee has to be paid in order to block the seat. On confirmation of admission, the reservation fee will be adjusted against the admission fee.
Mid-term admissions are considered only during the first semester up to Grade 8th with approval of Education Department and are limited to the availability of seats. No mid-term admissions will be accepted in the second semester which is from January onwards.
